Many people used the method of "Persuasion" to sell or advertised a product your selling.So people would buy or have an interest to your selling product.
Last week November 24,20011 our English Option Class talked about Persuasion in Advertisements. We also talked about 10 different kinds of techniques that are used in a advertisement.These are the things we talked about different kinds of techniques in a advertisement. Humor, Macho, Friends, Family, Fun, Nature, Sexy, Cartoon, Celebrity, and Wealth.
After we talked about the 10 different kinds of techniques in a advertisement.We played a game,The First thing we need to do was to find a partner.The games was about the 10 kinds of techniques we talked about.
Overall the experience that had during this games was fun and tricky because you'll never know what your partners planning just to trick you with that advertisement.After playing the game,I fell like playing it again because the fun that me and my partner had was spontaneous.It doesn't matter if you win or not,What matter is to have Fun.
The 10 techniques:
Humor - When people see a goofy picture or video,They laugh.
Macho - Usually men have this huge and chunky muscles,Women call them Macho.
Friends - When you have problems you have Friends to talk too or hangout.
Family - When your sick you'll always have an Family That will take care of you.
Fun - When your bored,There's always some Fun things to do with your life.
Nature - Without Nature you will not have a paper to write with.
Sexy - Usually us guys are attracted to Sexy women.
Cartoon - Without animation we would not be watching our cartoons,like we used to watch it now.
Celebrity - When your bored Celebrities are there to entertain you.
Wealth - Without the Wealth of our parents, We would not be living in a shelter and eating foods like we used to now.
